Do you think it is a good thing to introduce my kids to Buddhism or should I wait for me to have a better knowledge of the Buddha's teaching before I bring them into it ? My kids are pretty bright and as far as I know Buddhism, it seems like it's nothing intellectual, it's more like something that talks to your sensibility, and I believe my children could help me understand it even better. I've seen this Thich Nath Hanh book called The Stone Boy and Other Stories and I believe it is just short stories. Maybe I could buy it to my kids, I thought it might be a good way to start. I've made a search on Google and it looks like teenagers are more and more interested in Buddhism http://www.teenbar.net/showthread.ph...ung-for-Buddha
I think it will be a great gift for your children to start them into a Buddhist way of life. Gotama Buddha taught us the path to true happiness and deliverance from mental suffering. So go ahead, Florina.
