As Buddhism has roots in Hinduism I woder if some alignment still exists?

Did Buddha and his monks re vamp fully.............is some Hindu ideas still held?

Is Bgagavad Gita O.K. for Buddhists

Is Buddhism a philosophy more or a moral pathway?
