Yeah! ...one of my favored....that I call "pearls"!
Short...compact...easy to read...easy to understand and useful as "quick reverence" for students. There is a second one ... Zen-The-Art-of-Leadership" both are more like little "booklet's" rather than books.
I found it a very useful book, I was struggling with a book by Bhante Gunaratana, so I swithced to Zen Mind, Beginners Mind and it was like a light came on, I immeditately "understood" many of the "cryptic" statements, my mind went very calm and still for hours afterward, it made me wonder if I should study Zen.

I'd also like to reccommend Mindfulness in Plain English by Bhante Henepola Gunaratana (not the one I was struggling with) its a good guide to sitting meditation for beginners.

Edit: It was more the style of the book, rather than the content I was struggling with.
