Default Insight Meditation Question
Hey,

Well I was reading up on Insight Meditation yesterday and there was an exercise where I should try to focus on the rising and falling of my tummy and recognising things as they occur. Such as thinking, reflecting, forgetting, doubting, itching, pain, thirsty, intending, standing, sitting, touching, lifting, pressing, chewing, swallowing, etc.

Whilst always trying to focus on the rising and falling of my stomach. It seemed to suggest that I should try to do this all day long...

I've been trying... but I have kids and sometimes I can be doing so many things at once that I don't have the time to make a mental note of everything I am doing and then a couple of hours later I'll remember that I should have been focusing on the rising and falling of my tummy or at least making a mental note of everything I am doing physical mentally and emotionally. Is it possible to do this though with a one year old and three year old demanding your attention all day long??? Just wondering if anyone has any advice or whether I read into this exercise wrong?
