10 minutes is an ideal target for me, if I can achieve the taming of my thoughts for that long I consider it an excellent achievement! I have such a buzzing mind, even musical tunes go on in my head. I have recently been a bit upset with family problems and my mind's dreams are even more vivid and restless than usual.
It is so good to calm that torrent of thinking and just be utterly still and quiet. I am certain it does untold good mentally and physically, helps you heal throughout yourself.
