Continuing from my post #7, you'll get various kinds of advice from us here, because we are a mixed tradition group. Additionally, if you put words or phrases into our search facility you'll find a variety of different topics discussed throughout the forums on the website, including topics about karma and rebirth.

However,to begin with I highly recommend you just have a read of the text and listen along to the audio if possible - to "What is Buddhism" which is pinned in our Beginners Forum. It it might help with some of your questions and will give you some basics to work on.
