I am scared cause I am at the end of myself and I do not know where to turn. My heart tells me to give all my things away and go to where I can be of any possible assistance to all the others who are scared here in samsara.

First, just relax and check the excellent links that Aloka-D provided. The answers you are looking for are closer than you think but they are not 'out there' over a misty horizon, they are within your very own fathom-long body.

It just takes a bit of time to connect with it all. Giving "things" away isn't a good place to start. There is giving-away to be done but it is an inner process of relinquishment and quite independent of material things.

Hang around, read stuff and ask questions.
