I agree...with every passing decade race relations are improving in this country and if you look at stats that deal with the younger generation there is even more cause for optimism. Obama has definitely achieved something remarkable...it is no longer taboo for an American president to be from an ethnic/racial minority. And as far as I'm concerned, he's done a descent job as president thus far. He's moved ahead with health care reform and has ended the war in Iraq. I'm disappointed though that he did not take a similar action in Afghanistan. The economy is improving and it will probably be in better shape by 2012.
