@SmartCelt Yes there may be some insecurity involved, buty a different kind of insecurity. You know, there is a difference between 'I feel insecure cause I dont comply to Nordic standards' and ' I feel insecure cause someone tried to kill my family becaue of my ethnic origin' these are two different scenarios.
Like with Jews, as same with Slavs, there was a racial persecution and it was a fact. Its history and it was obviously some kind of pathology but what I mean is- it happenned. Its different than some 'not enough blonde' guy blinking to his mirror and comparing his skull to racial ideals, do you get the drift?

It's also possible that many of the hostile responses I got were from Poles who were completely unaware of the intricate details of the history between them and the Nazis, as I was. I hope you can see my point because as you can tell, I'm not particularly diplomatic.
