When I was in Trinidad, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. I did feel a commonality with the Afro descendants there because we share common West African roots.

But Anglo Caribbean culture is alot more British influenced than Afram culture(Especially thier love for Cricket), and with the exception of Trinidad, Blacks are not a minority of the population like in the US, so there's less of a need to emphasise "Blackness" like we do on the North American mainland.
