Venezuela & Argentina were very well off 50 years ago.

But, Venezuela collapsed from too much socialism debt & a Internation Monetary Fund that made them a slave.

Argentina also was engulfed into debt from projects & the falkland wars wiith vidella.

Chile is stronger than Venezuela & Argentina today because of Augusto Pinochet Conservative poliicies helped in stimulating the economy.

Argentina and Venezuela has lagged behind because they don't have the practical approach of Chileans to development. But it is something that is changing. Today the country that grows faster in the region is Peru, actually.
