There's no real resemblance, IMO. The Italian American is probably darker than Alba. Alba's natural hair is medium-light brown, for example.

I dont know about your own particular perceptions but I sure as hell dont think she looks neither SSA or Polynesian. She looks Mediterranean. If anything very similar to Iberian Maghrebi hybrids in these latest sets pof pics that she has been posting

I do think that she looks much whiter, subjctively, nowadays compared with how she looked in the past. I already posted a video which showed her present looks. However, the "Polynesian" comment I made is based on how she looked in Dark Angel, where I first saw her, and she looked far more exotic back then - no doubt in part due to styling, but she looked ambiguous in Never Been Kissed as well, even though she had blonde hair there. I didn't mean to say that she looked like a purely Polynesian person, but rather like an European with some exotic admixture. Which is what she is.

The oldies are her grandparents.

I never did like her. But since I have run into this pics I think she is just gorgeous. Had a bad image consultant back in the days. Even so, you still like her from back then right Jam?

Yes, I have the opposite opinion, I thought she looked much cooler and very adorable back then, while I don't care much for her as she is now. The last movie where she looked really good was Awake, where she also looked just about as exotic as she did in Dark Angel. Not Med. She may conform more to a standard beauty ideal now, but that's just boring.

She just had a more ambiguous look in the past, while she looks less immediately ambiguous now. Her European part is mostly Northern European, remember, not Med. Med's look different, with short foreheads and other charateristic traits. She looks different, even now. It depends on the picture, but she still looks a bit "exotic" nowadays, just not as much as in the past. She also have a bit of her old look in the last picture you posted, her eyes looks the same as ever.

Ps. about Maghrebi - whenever I've been to Spain or Italy, and those North African vendors try to sell stuff, you can always recognise them from miles away. They USUALLY looks nothing like the locals. Sure, a gazillion pics have been posted here that shows "white" looking NA, but in reality they just don't look like Europeans in general except for the few individuals who do. Someone once posted a Maltese or Sicilian or something who looked very "Amerindian" so you can always find people with a superficial resemblance despite their origin. I mean JA's dad look East Indian to me. But that's just my wrong perception.
