I'm always confused on

LATINOS, CHICANOS?

Do the Andean Peruvians called themselves Latinos? African descents in South America called themselves Latinos?

I have always thought that LATINOS refers to people of LATIN ANCESTRY like Italians, Romans, Portuguese, French, Spanish...

I might as well called myself a GERMANO since I speak English which is a Germanic language? lol

AFAIK Andean Peruvians call themselves Quechua, Aymara, etc.

Most African Descents call themselves or identify as latinos (in LatAm).

LATINO is a short for LATINOAMERICANO.

You'd be seen as ANGLO or ANGLOCHINO around here or GRINGO CHINO.
