I do take it seriously for most things but the Hispanic/Latino category doesn't really work with the Census. Mexicans, Central Americans and South Americans are far too diverse for that.

Regardless, even for other ethnic groups, it's not in depth enough. It lumps all MENA's into the Caucasian category when the majority wouldn't be seen as "white" in the U.S.

US census needs some work, they need to add more categories
