16 millon of Mexicans white hispanic?....

Lets define what's white hispanic firts:

These are a white hispanic:

theres are not white hispanic:

Thus if all those 16 million of mexicans where "White hispanics" they all would look like the formers but I bet you the mayority of them look like the latters so they arent white hispanics, they are mestizo people....

I think some of it has to do with the census workers. Many people simply assign Latinos the "white" race by default. So if Mexican Americans don't list a race, census workers will go to their homes and get the rest filled out. Another example, I was reading some of my sister's school documents and noticed that they had her listed as ethnically Hispanic but under race, they had her listed as "White"

But anyway, I doubt these 16 million Mexicans see themselves as "White".

I have my fun anytime I need to fill out forms pertaining to race/ethnicity

Whether it be for employment, school, government papers, etc. Just because they never get it right.
