Is life set forth among us, that those of us who inwardly consider themselves better than the rest, desire a frontier for self-preservation?
That is, do the wealthy tend to flee from places where poverty has taken root, and choose to group up among themselves elsewhere?
Do the fashionable desire to be among the fashionable? Do the artistic among us prefer to be around the artistic? The musicians among the musicians?
Yet further: have the Northern European people chosen the outskirts of civilization for their own self-preservation? First to Scandinavia? Second, to the isles of Britain and Iceland, as the "civilized" masses pushed northward? Thirdly, as Britain flooded, to North America? Then onward to New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, etc.?
