Barbados has a high level of Irish admixture, though.
This Genetic study of the Caribbean unsign 28 AIMs gives:

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/1...07.00398.x/pdf

Barbados (n=95) 89.6% African, 10.2% European, 0.2% Native American

St. Thomas (n=125) 86.8% African, 10.6% European, 2.6% Native American

Jamaica (n=54) 84.4% African, 12.4% Euroepan, 3.2% Native American

Actually, based on phenotypical observation and this genetic study I read, Barbadians are the purest West-Central African types. Take a walk in Bridgetown, Barbados and you will know what I am talking about.

Somewhat ironically, Barbadians also speak more standard dialects of English when compared to Jamaicans, Trinidadians, Belizeans, and Guyanese.
