One of the reasons I like this area, I have not noticed anyone staring at interethnic/racial couples here, unless its sneaky side glances.

The only vicious remarks I can vividly recall about what people feel about any perceived disparity between couples is aesthetic in nature. For example, among a certain crowd, if a guy brings in an ugly or subpar female is a reflection of them and they'll get jokes like 'did you see what so and so had the nerve to drag in here/" "yeah, some witchy looking skank' etc.
