Very real problem in the Gulf.

Even when its not Ramadan, many people (but particularly Arabs), prefer to order twice what they can eat, as doing otherwise is a sign of being a miser.

And in Ramadan the problem doubles.

Also, Ramadan for many people here is Iftar, followed by Taraweeh, and then smoking Shisha till late night.

Most hotels start "Ramadan tents" where the main attraction is Sheesha and food...
