I am from the descendants of Hazrat Abbas (RA) ibn Ali (RA) and there I found the family name "Alvi" and till the 12 generation there is a name Hazrat Abdullah Aon Qutub Shah Awan Qadri Abbasi Alvi Baghdadi (RA), the caliph of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) and then he had a marriage with converted female, daughter of Hindu Raja Kalan so, had 3 children from her. Najaf Ali hatmi, Muhammad Ali Chohan and fateh Ali kalan and I am from the Muhammad Ali Chohan so, we put a name of Chohan. But the son of Muhammad Ali Chohan was Manat khan f/o Haider Khan f/o Zubair Khan f/o Haleem Khan so & so ..... to my Grand father Nawazish Ali Khan, we had name of "Khan" too.
