I've come to the conclusion that it's probably best to simply stay away. It's really not important for me to interact with things I know nothing about and to which there is a doubtless and superior alternative. Alhamdullilah there are many other scholars of greater learning and repute so its best to just stick with those upon whom there is no doubt.

The reason why I asked in the first place was because he is going to be coming to Toronto and people will be listening to and interacting with him so I just wanted to be aware of who he was.

Some people do need to however temper their emotions and perhaps use a tad more adab even with people we disagree with.

May Allah(swt) guide us all towards that which is without doubt and may He guide us to the path of His chosen servants. Ameen.
