Yes tell him ASAP. He can go back read 24-25 then jump to where he ended even if it's in another surah. I've seen huffaz go back patch things up the next day then carry on their normal course. Gotta credit Shaykh Eat-Halal tarweeh blogs for that tidbit of knowledge. Haha.

What if he doesn't listen? Im just a youth, he'll probably say I dont know what im talking about. Will one verse really mess up the whole taraweeh?
