Your job is to simply inform him with the best of adab. You are not required to compel him to believe you or to act on your statement. Ultimately the Imamate is his responsibility. You simple tell him what you heard and feel happened. Then the rest is upto him inshallah. But at least you can rest after that, that you did everything in your ability assist him fulfill his duty.
