What do you mean by good music? Everyones idea of good music is different.
I cannot stress this enough. I have always been fascinated with how our brains interpret "good music".
I will never judge someone for the music they listen to, only in extreme cases. I have tried to understand this for years and have come to the conclusion that the memories and thoughts we associate with our music is very personal. There is something in our auditory cortex that is unique to each and every person that evokes these feelings. One may feel it listening to a classical symphony from Beethoven, another may see God in Marilyn Manson.
Ok Im joking about Marilyn.
I never judge someone for the music they listen to anymore... unless it really only consists of gangster rap.
I most definitely feel that lyrics and words that are put into your head kind of tell you what to think and how to act.
I'm specifically talking about music without lyrics, just pure sounds, where you derive your own feelings.
