I have read Maulana Asim Umar's books and all of it appears too far fetched but he has some valid points, Maulana's intention is to scare the pants of the person and grab their attention and he succeeds in his endeavour.

He doesn't hide the fact that he is trying to jolt the person into action.

As far as Sheikh Imran Hosein is concerned his personal analysis are like anybody else's. sometimes what he says makes sense while at other time he is way of the mark e.g. about Dajjal being on British Islands and Shaykh twisting East of Madina (unsuccesfully) to arrive at his conclusions and his theory of Sea of Galilee which is drying and not dry YET!

I guess what we have to do is read a lot of the subject and takes bits from everyone because everyone is presenting their opinions at the end of the day.

Allah (SWT) knows best.
