I have heard a lot of bayans of Maulana Tariq Jamil sahab. I respect him a lot. But i have heard many people who speak against him. They say, that he promotes grave worship, does many things that barelvis do.. Is that true?

He made some efforts to bring different thought groups closer and hence made forays into their gatherings. After that the other thing we heard that he had disowned some of his earlier sayings. We assume that these sayings must be from those experiments on his part. As a preferred attitude in Islam we thus do not ask questions about those events. In particular his beliefs do not seem to be like those of Barelwis. May Allah (SWT) grant us confidence in our scholars.
