Allah looks at your intention and will reward you for your efforts...all is not lost. Allah made it happen that way just accept it and make it up after ramadan.
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته و مغفرته

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

A few days ago a brother came into the masjid and was disappointed to hear the adhaan go. He sat down and told the maulana I had already opened my fast at home and now I have come to the masjid and I hear the adhaan. Will I have to make it up? The Imaam replied he will have to make that fast up after Ramadhan. The brother was very upset and distressed thinking he would be punished for having opened his fast early. The Imaam replied that rather Allah SWT will not punish him for his mistake, and will rather reward him for having kept that fast. The only difference is he will have to keep an extra fast for having opened it early but he will not be punished (provided he keeps the extra one) and will rather be rewarded as it was an honest mistake.

Such is the mercy of Allah SWT The Most Merciful, The Most Forgiving. May Allah SWT continue to shower His blessings on all of Muslims on Earth and grant Hidaayah to all the Muslims and Non-Muslims. Ameen.
