That must have had a big effect on you. The environment can effect anyone and everyone, yanno. Even though I was born and bred just around the corner from your Masjid, I grew up mostly in an environment of Niqab and separation between men and women. Despite now living in a free for all, gender mixing society, growing up like that has made me feel uncomfortable around women too.

Yes, it had quite a big impact on me.

I thought that Saudi wahhabism was what all muslims were like.

btw I haven't been to our masjid because I am working in another part of the state. Should be back in another month or two.
