Last night, during Taraweeh, the sheikh gave an explanation on Surat-al Mumminun (The Believers). He mentioned there are three levels of Islam: the Muslims, the Muminun, and the Mohsin. He said Allah (SWT) requires us to be Muminun, not Muslims. I understand the difference between Muslims and Muminun because Muslims are just those who say they are religious, but Muminun are those who truly believe and strive for Allah (SWT) the way the Qur'an dictates and authentic Sunnah/Hadith explain. What is a Mohsin? How is that different from a Muminun? What are the blessings and miracles Allah (SWT) provides to the Mohsin?
