Hi bro,

I have Asperger's which results in some similar issues, though in other areas of life. In a thread on the sensitive subjects forum, I got this response from a moderator (it was in response to a different question/issue, but seems relevant none the less): "People who are created with special needs or are afflicted with autism, for example, will not be subject to the same scrutiny in their questioning on the day of judgement as will be people who are not afflicted with these."

I took that to mean that, for example, if your ADHD means that you need to read aloud in order to complete your prayers, then Allah (swt) will understand. Note that I'm not in a position to offer an actual opinion of my own, but that's one I was given and it seems reasonable to me.
I have heard this as well, but there's always the feeling for me that the doctors are wrong and I'm just some guy with soo much anxiety that it's all in my head...

EDIT: I posted another post, not sure where it went... It was long, damn...
