Akhi, I have miskhat al masabih right here, and it is in 2 volumes not three. If the hadith actually is in Miskhat al Masabih (and this is a typo or I am mistaken), perhaps somebody can find which book it is related in? And there are only a handful of ahadith in Miskhat which aren't from a primary source so it is probably from one of the other books if this narration is in there.

You'll have to forgive me for being skeptical, I have no problem with ahadith that foretell future events or innovations as thats part of what cemented my faith in this religion - but there has been a lot of online forgeries and false claimants to hadith, and they seem to be aiming particularly for ahadith on the topic of Hazrat al Mehdi and yawm al qiyama.
