I am hopeful of the turkish pm. However, is it correct to appreciate a country where women cannot wear hijabs, atheism, secularism and practices and beliefs taht will put the barelwis to shame, we are going to compare that with a country where at least SOME aspects of the shariah are practiced, circles of knowledge are common, scholars are recognised and respected by the government, hijabs and niqabs and hudood etc are common place, I really dont think its fair to compare the two places in all honesty.
I dont believe that any country is more islamic than saudi, and as I said before, if you can find one, let me know inshAllah. The average person in saudi prays 5 times a day, how many countries can say that?
