The status of women in Islam is of great honour and respect. Women are the future of the Ummah in the sense, they bring up the next generation. Almost all of our esteemed classical scholars had one thing in common and that is a very pious mother. The restrictions on the women to freely roam, or show themselves is only because of their own being. They themselves are so precious that no father wants his daughter leave the house alone or uncovered, no husband wants his wife to leave house alone or uncovered, no brother wants his sister to leave the house alone or uncovered, no son wants his mother to leave the house alone or uncovered.

Muslimahs need to realize their importance and the amount of respect they carry along with them. If one truly realizes the virtue of herself being a Muslimah, the status of being a Muslimah, the respect of being a Muslimah, and the great honour of being a Muslimah I can very much certainly say that none would ever bother about even leaving the four-walls of her home without a very strong reason, let alone going into a stadium and playing football as an entertainment for millions of men around the world.
