There is nothing as "Islamic" inventions.... Inventions are only scientific.

Also , how can you , a Pakistani , take pride in Arabs'/Persians' inventions?

It were Arab , Persian , Indian , Greek , Chinese etc etc inventions....Calling them "Muslim inventions" or "Christian inventions" etc is futile.

Muslims , ALL OVER THE WORLD , should now come out of the past and start working--most aggressively--towards science and technology , R&D , economic independence & prosperity , education , industrialization , political stability etc etc etc...This can be the BIGGEST service to Islam in today's age...

To free Muslim societies from the Western influence and Western claws , above mentioned way is the only way! ....

Plus : Great share of the works of geniuses from the past...
I actually agree with you in one sense, but would take it further and say that they are simply inventions by the individuals who actually made them. On the other hand, we cannot deny that individuals are products of their environments. To the extent that said inventions occurred in a milieu dominated by Islamic laws, values, sentiments, etc., it is perfectly valid to talk about an "Islamic" invention, in the same way it makes sense to talk about an "ancient Chinese" or "ancient Greek" invention. However, when it comes to individuals who did not participate in making the invention, but are simply proud because it was made by someone with whom they share a lot of DNA or culture-- that makes no sense to me.
