You're able to see women in the background and this is unavoidable other than in one way- not watch the video at all. Not to mention that if you wanted to watch it on tv, you wouldn't be able to tell when the matches start exactly so may turn on the tv and see some random woman presenting for a bit before the sports begin, etc.

I was focussing on the two men and their techniques therefore didn't notice any women in the background (even if they were there). It's like watching a car in the street in the distance, your focus is on the car but there will doubtless be women in background who will be in your line of sight.

I don't have a TV so wouldn't know who presents and what not. TV is obviously a great source of fasad and time-wasting no doubt. I merely watch the clips where a certain event is taking place.

Take a Muslim cricketer. Doubtless, when he is batting, he is focussing on the bowler. There will of course be women in the background in his line of sight.

But yes I do agree that it's better to stay away from watching if it's on TV but to brand sports haraam?
