That's what ive been doing but I wanted to get different opinions

Assalamu alaykum

I have been praying for decades with folded hands below the navel. I felt it is waste of time to investigate why malikis are leaving their hands while praying.

There is a masnoon dua:

Allahumma innee awoozu bika bi ilmil laa yanfa'a
