i just remembered a funny thing of a maliki friend of mine. he made qiyaam with his hands on his sides & this old man came by & lifted his hands to his chest. & every salah the old man came in & did it. thats what happens when you a maliki in a 100% shafi town. remember first that you have to know what is wajib in your new madhab. first things first akhi, no more trimming or shaving your beard if you have one. no more basmallah in fatihah & the other day I got a mail that imaam malik had a view of 41 rakaats for taraweeh.
