as people get older they get more stubborn especially those inclined to extreme barelwism.

personally, if they didn't accept what i had to tell them, i'd leave them to it because they just get very angry when you offer advice.

P.S. what is the status of someone who never prays Salah other than Jummah, when told to pray Salah their response is "pray if you can , if not no big deal".
