As for the proofs of Islam, they are many, the linguistic miracle of the Qur'an is excellent although its difficult to grasp if you don't know Arabic. An excellent site masha'Allah is:

Now there is the proof from mutawatir Hadiths.
This is basically where an incident is narrated by so many people in each successive generation that the chance that it be a lie is impossible and unsound to the mind.
Take the example of a famous professor at a university giving a lecture in front of 400 people and then he suddenly collapsed. So then word spreads throughout the places and times about this.
From the original 400, 200 people each narrate to at least 1 person the incident, forming at a minimum a total of 400 people who know of the incident.
Then from these latter 200, they narrate to 2 each and so on until 100 years pass and the incident is still mentioned in many different places, by many different people.
Now think of the miracles that the Holy Prophet() did that were witnessed by 100s, at times 1000's?
Now then there are other proofs of Islam such as the incidents of jinn possession that are very widely known and the possessed person is healed just by the use of the Qur'an whilst none of the medicines work.

Or ask the people who work at the graveyards at Medinah(may Allah elevate it)
about the people who have been found in their graves through digging, they were from centuries ago yet they look as if they were buried yesterday, with no sign of decay. Such incidents are well known amongst the residents of Medinah.

And take the example of the fine-tuning of the universe that is a proof of Allah Most High also:
If the initial explosion of the big bang had differed in strength by as little as 1 part in
1060, the universe would have either quickly collapsed back on itself, or expanded too
rapidly for stars to form. In either case, life would be impossible. [See Davies, 1982, pp.
90-91. (As John Jefferson Davis points out (p. 140), an accuracy of one part in 10^60 can
be compared to firing a bullet at a one-inch target on the other side of the observable
universe, twenty billion light years away, and hitting the target).
