Nabila,

I pray that all is well. Are you feeling any better?

I recently started reading a book called "The Vision of Islam". Basically, it is a comprehensive introduction to Islam from a theological and philosophical point of view. I'm about half way through, and it has been an excellent read so far. It touches upon many of the "thorny" issues surrounding theistic philosophy (problem of Evil in the world, purpose of man etc) and has helped me immensely through my own "sticky patch".

You can get it from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vision-Islam...3694201&sr=8-1

Please do read it if you get the chance.

Walaikum Salaam brother.

Some days I feel better, other days I feel that I am so far away from Allah, that it's impossible for me to get back on track.

Thank you for the link to the book, I know that I have to start stocking up on such resources and use them for my own good to dismiss these doubts forever InshAllah.

In the library at college, I came across another book called "God Arises" by Maulana Wahiduddin Khan. You'd think that I'd pick it up straightaway but I've been putting it off, well not me...but you know who. I know I have to take it out before I procrastinate even more.

You can get an excerpt from here:

Once again, thank you for all of your help. I pray that you continue to get better too, InshAllah.
