Wasalam, All I would say is this probably a question best directed towards a nutritionist or physician. Its best to ask their advice before devising any sort of gym routine during Ramadhan. I did find this very helpful article on Imam Suhaib Webb's website: The Ramadan Nutrition and Workout Plan for Success: Women and Men http://www.suhaibwebb.com/personaldv...rotein-shaikh/ If anything I think what you are thinking about is very beneficial for you both physically, mentally and spirituality. Exercise is important because it can provide discipline and routine especially if you integrate it in your wider life. Unfortunately, especially nowadays most people gain weight rather than lose it during Ramadhan because they spend the whole day doing absolutely no physical activity whatsoever and then binge on food during the nights - this was how I spent some Ramadhans in Saudia anyway. So I guess all you can do is to consult your doctor or consult a nutritionist and work out a specific and systematic plan because I don't think you can do gym during this blessed month without some planning or thought - and again because we're all different you will probably have to devise a routine which you think you can cope with. And God knows best...
