This is an excellent summary of the current state school system and what is wrong with it. If you are not familiar with the Montessori method of learning, it is a method which perfectly compliments the Islamic method of educating, from both the practical to spiritual aspect. And to have both (Montessori and Islamic) perspectives under one roof in a school can only be providing the best possible start in life for that child (inshaallah!) Montessori is very individualised learning right from the beginning (3 years old) and takes into account psychological and physical child development. If you ever have the oppurtunity to visit a Montessori nursery (there are few and far between Primary schools as often there is lack of funding!) you would be amazed in comparison to a standard state nursery.
