Assalamulikum,

There maybe more groups called dawate-islam or dawat-ul-islam, but their are at least two. One is as the brothers have mentioned here a Sunni-Hanafi-Barelvi version of the Tablighi Jamaat and the other is a sub group of the Jamati Islamis.

Basically here in the UK the Jamati Islami Bengali group in the 80s I believe had a quarrrel amongst themselves and split into two groups one being the IFE (Islamic Forum Europe) and the other called themselves dawat-ul-islam. The dawat-ul-islam brother Zaynul speaks about is this jamati islami one. Althougth this groups claims to be hanafi or have hanafi views, it is very much salafistic in approach and have adopted many salafi positions on things. They have a madarash in london too known as Dar al Ummah.
