Assalamu alaykum

The message is that a person seized to be our elder (no more worth following) if his practices are against Quran and Sunnah. There can be ijtehadi difference, or a person with less knowledge and experience may not understand other person's actions.

Alhamdulillah Allah SWT has blessed this work with a mechanism "a dead fish is thrown out of sea"

dont want to make a debate out of this as it has been done many times before on this forum, but i will not stay quiet if something false is stated.

there ARE 'dead fishes' in this work, just like there are 'dead fishes' in other efforts, and some of them happen to be called 'elders'. so just be careful who you follow and what you follow. if people just stick to the established usools and follow the effort and not the elders then they will be fine inshallah.
