I hope you are doing well. Jazak Allah for opening the thread. However, here is the dilema and I need your input on it to make this decision.

Please read the 2nd post in response to your OP and then the 3rd. As you can see people on the forum hold different views on the issue. Now, with ramadhan just around a couple of days, this thread will blow into a pro-tj vs usooli-tj debate. Some heads will heat up. Some will call other against tj, while other will malign the SF for not taking action and being biased.

Since you are the Opening Poster, I ask you to help me. In presence of the evident debate which I forsee in the next few hours, should I:

a. Close this thread.
b. Let it remain open and hope for a peaceful rage-free discussion (probability is very low).

I await your response.

i am with you...i mean as you wish or whatever you think is better, i had opened this forum not for a debate but just for a clarification...if you think the thread closure is better than do it, i have no objection

By elders i meant those elders who have been chosen from mashwara and the elders i know alhamdulillah are ahlullah...

Just like a mureed is chosen by a sheikh as his khalifa when mureed acquires qualities of piety , similarly one is made among shura or one is made ameer of a state or city by big elders when they find that the person has qualities of piety and has intense concern for the deen...!

Prophet Muhammad

said (whose mafoom is) that badgomani about a muslim is haram....so what to say about those who have sacrificed for the sake of deen

Anyway...If Maulana Sb thinks that the thread closure is better for ummah, then do it...
