And also that the cloth shouldn't be part of the Qur'an i.e It's cover.

i thought that the leather covering was ok to handle without wudhu for hanafis. for us shafi's we cant even carry a bag that has the quran. we cant touch it with a cloth & we cant even carry it when it hangs from a string.
