no..we r direct migrants from hijaz and yemen.. some r quraysh clans who migrated at the time of Hajjaj ibn yousuf..and the others from hadramaut.. bearing the same family names that reside now there yemen...this is documented stuff and a non muslim has also done a dissertation on us.. its small town and interesting admixture of arab and indian culture.. place is called bhatkal..
