Here is the list of authors to avoid from this old thread.

Avoiding certain authors is a good way of cutting down your reading list.

Since most of the people who visit the forum are reader type this is the type of advice that has high chances of falling on deaf ears.

But once a reader has explored an author and then decides him to be unworthy of attention then he is more likely to give him a cold shoulder.

In short the list will have the opposite effect but that is just as well.

Of course there is interesting discussion on that thread and it has not gone stale at all.
