Too much water is flowing down Tigris in the sense that there is excessive discussion on SF at the moment so it is difficult to keep up with all the good info that is flowing. This preamble is to apologize for not having read all the posts in the thread. But still yours truly has some thing to say. Yours truly is amongst one of those who some times gets caught on non-Saudi side and some times on the pro-Turkey side. In spite of that yours truly would not like to receive the Saudi-hating, Turkey-loving badge. Reason is simple - it is not an accurate description of reality. There things that yours truly loves about Saudia and there things about Turkey that yours truly feels rather uncomfortable about. And if some one asks about over all feelings then yours truly has no answer for that also - because the question did not come to mind. My expectation from both Saudia as well as Turkey is that they behave Islamically. So the things are not as black and white as the message has reached you - and when I say that I am not blaming anyone of you.

And I do admit that this Sufi-Salafi marriage is not that easy to perform.
