I was for years one of the biggest supporters of creating a History forum and actively campaigned for it but by the time we finally got it I had a much busier life and have had very little time to contribute (I still lurk though). I'm saddened to see that I'm clearly not the only one, so while I have an emotional desire to keep the forum I see increasingly less rational arguments for it -- I could live with either decision, really (for full disclosure, I voted to keep it though).
